据界面新闻，对此，vivo一位发言人表示“深感震惊”，称印度当局“最近的拘捕行动表明骚扰行为仍在继续，给整个行业带来了不确定性”，公司将坚决利用一切法律手段来应对和挑战这些指控。
在此之前，印度执法局曾于10月逮捕4名行业高管，其中一人为vivo印度分公司的中国员工。执法局称，这4人涉嫌参与洗钱，但vivo否认这一指控。
