2月29日，国家流感中心发布了2024年第8周（2024年2月19日—2024年2月25日）的流感监测周报（以下简称周报）。周报显示，在已检出的流感病毒阳性病例中，乙型流感仍为主要流感类型，但占比自2023年12月以来首次出现下降。

另外，流感样病例占门急诊病例总数百分比（ILI%）在上升两周后开始回落。其中，北方省份报告的ILI%略低于 2023 年同期水平，南方省份报告的ILI%仍高于往年同期水平。
